The roots of the myth of the toothed vagina

In the film 'Teeth' a high school girl, torn between her budding sexuality and chastity, discovers that she has a toothed vagina. The film was inspired by the myth of the vagina dentata - and heavily influenced by the work of the feminist Camille Paglia.
