Her haunting new book, Disquiet

When Julia Leigh’s debut novel The Hunter was published in 1999 it received worldwide acclaim, and she was chosen by a UK broadsheet as one of the top 21 writers to watch in the new millennium. But it was not until this year that she produced her second book, the disturbing and atmospheric novella Disquiet. Julia talks to Jenni about whether her early success was a help or a hindrance in her writing career.

Disquiet, by Julia Leigh, published by Faber and Faber, ISBN: 978-0571239993
