The Sherpa gardener28 Dec 2007
One woman on how a Sherpa has transformed her Scottish garden

At Craigieburn House in south-west Scotland, Janet Wheatcroft's head gardener is more accustomed to the Himalayas than the Scottish Borders. Dawa, a Nepalese Sherpa, has created an exotic garden full of Buddhist prayer wheels and blue poppies, in the heart of the Scottish countryside.

Reporter Caroline Beck went to meet Janet and her gardener, Dawa.
