Woman's Hour Breast Cancer
Can we give too much attention to breast cancer?

It has been called the Pink Backlash – the feeling that too much attention has been given to breast cancer. Breast cancer gets a whole awareness month and in during October Woman’s Hour took a special look at the disease. But does our focus on breast cancer mean that other cancers lose out on research and funding?

Jenni talks to Dr Julie Sharp, senior scientific officer at Cancer Research UK and to Penny Wilson-Webb, Chief Executive of the Rarer Cancers Forum.
