Living with schizophrenia

Elyn Saks describes her brain as the instrument of her success and her pride, but it also carrys the tools of her destruction. Elyn is a highly successful academic, a professor of Law and Psychiatry in the U.S., she also has schizophrenia. She talks to Jenni about her illness, the times when she has been hospitalized and restrained, suffered delusions and hallucinations and yet with medication and psychoanalysis has gone on to build a successful marriage, career and lasting friendships.
