In the latest of our series on Treasures of the British Museum, we find out about a masterpiece of Chinese Art from the Sixth Century. The Admonitions Scroll consists of a series of paintings interspersed with text and it uses the principles of Confucius to tell the women of the Chinese court how they should behave. Louise Adamson joins Jane Portal, who’s Curator of Chinese and Korean Antiquities at the British Museum, to find out more.
