The Dying Swan is a short and punishing piece of dance set to a cello solo by Saint-Saëns. It is performed by ballerinas all over the world but the version that Michel Fokine choreographed for Anna Pavlova in 1907 has only ever been taught to a handful of dancers. Former principal dancer with the Royal Ballet, Marguerite Porter, is passing on this secret choreography to the next generation. She joins Jenni to explain how she was entrusted with a fragment of dance history.
