Life After a Brain Injury14th March 2007
Comic Relief is concentrating on mental health issues this year, and addressing the stigma associated with having depression, personality changes and memory loss – often the consequences of brain injury. Two years ago Hazel was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Phil, a keen amateur flyer, lost half the back of his head after an accident involving a microlight 9 years ago. Both have been left with damaged eyesight, and short term memory lapses. They and their partners, Richard and Heather, explain how their lives have changed.
