Jane Ford is a music teacher at Staindrop in County Durham and is worried that young people have no interest in any other kind of music besides the likes of Britney Spears. In an attempt to do something about it she’s formed an all female singing group called ‘Concordia'. It consists largely of Jane’s pupils – some just 12 or 13 years old, plus some interested adults. They sing Elizabethan Madrigals and have been so successful they’ve produced a CD of their work. Jill Hopkins went to meet them…
