Visual
Sofia Coppola on Marie Antoinette20 October 2006
Sofia Coppola began her acting career as a new born baby in the first Godfather film working for her father. She was to appear again as Mary Corleone in the third film of the trilogy. But she was a little older when she wrote and directed 'Lost in Translation' which won her an Oscar.

Her new film, 'Marie Antoinette', tells the story of the young Austrian princess who, apparently, never did pronounce “let them eat cake”.

Sofia Coppola talks to Martha about the film, and why she thinks Marie Antoinette should wear designer shoes.
