The importance of good nutrition for children has been high on parents’ agendas since Jamie Oliver’s school dinners campaign. And the Children’s Food Bill, promoting healthy eating in schools, is currently being debated in Parliament.
Nutritionist Jane Clarke, who advised on Jamie Oliver’s campaign, has written a nutrition bible for parents. Jane debunks the myths around children’s food, and offers tips on healthy eating – from how to deal with fussy eaters to preventing mood swings and whether organic foods are really best.

For dipping Banana slices Raspberries Peach slices Mango slices Papaya slices Pineapple chunks
Very slowly and gently warm the yoghurt in a small pan, taking care not to heat too quickly as this can cause the yoghurt to separate. Add the chocolate and stir until it has melted and blended in, then add the cocoa, maple syrup and vanilla essence. Mix until silky smooth.
