Edna Healey talks about her life03 Apr 2006
Edna Healey has lived in extraordinary times: as the wife of Denis Healey, the man some say was the greatest prime minister we never had, she witnessed scenes at home and abroad that were part of political history, and endured a rollercoaster ride of elections and leadership struggles. In her own right she has celebrated the lives of many unsung women in her acclaimed books and she'll be joining Jenni Murray to talk about her enduring marriage, her family, and her own public life.

Edna Healey's memoir, "Part of the Pattern: Memoirs of a Wife at Westminster " is published by Headline Review - ISBN: 0747275807
