Music
Mina Agossi31 Mar 2006
Jamie Cullum said of her ‘listening to Mina Agossi is like riding a motorbike through Paris – thrilling, beautiful, dangerous and very bumpy. Don’t expect to come out alive.’

Mina Agossi is certainly no ordinary jazz singer – she’s been compared to PJ Harvey and Bjork, and her live performances are pretty wild. Her sound too is unusual – no saxophones or pianos, just raw drum'n'bass, with influences from France to Morocco and Benin.

Mina performs live in the Woman's Hour studio.
