Rebecca Stott is a Professor of English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, and a freelance writer and broadcaster. Her first novel, Ghostwalk, published in 2007, was shortlisted for several awards. She joins Jane to discuss her latest novel, The Coral Thief. Set in Paris in 1815, Rebecca describes it as the story of a bunch of philosophical thieves who are trying to break into a museum - a kind of Ocean’s Eleven meets Rousseau’s Confessions.
