Brooke Kinsella
The actress talks about her brother Ben and knife crime

In June 2008 Ben Kinsella was stabbed while out celebrating finishing his GCSE’s. He later died of his injuries. The story made headline news, partly because Ben’s sister Brooke was an actress, well known for appearing in EastEnders but also because it was an unprovoked, vicious attack. Together with Ben’s friends and family, Brooke launched an anti knife crime campaign, throwing the issue into public consciousness. Brooke joins Jenni to talk about her experiences in the last year which also saw the three killers convicted, each given a 19 year life sentence.
Why Ben? is published by Pocket Books, ISBN 9781847398475
