Why are older women more likely to report them?
Musical hallucinations are relatively common, but can often be a disturbing experience. A study recently conducted in Wales suggests that older women tend to report the experience more frequently, and that the hymn 'Abide With Me' is one of the more common ear-worms. Lady Edna Healey shares her experience of this intriguing phenomenon, alongside the psychiatrist Dr Victor Aziz from St Tydfil Hospital in Wales who has researched the condition. | |
