Rosie Boycott
A battle with addiction

Twenty five years ago the journalist and broadcaster Rosie Boycott published her biography A Nice Girl Like Me. The book charted her years from leaving Cheltenham Ladies College, her experiments with drugs, sex and alcohol, her time co-founding the feminist magazine Spare Rib and the publishing house Virago to her descent by the age of 30 into alcoholism and chaos. As the book is republished, Rosie joins Jenni to reflect on what has happened since and on her continuing battle with alcohol.

Rosie Boycott’s biography 'A Nice Girl Like Me' first published in 1984 is updated and re-published by Simon and Schuster 5th May 2009 ISBN 978-1-84739-470-5
