If she were still alive, Mary Isabel Catherine O'Brien, would have turned 70 today. Better known as Dusty Springfield she and her blonde beehive towered over the 1960s. But she was more than just a great singer – she helped introduce Motown to Britain and she refused to sing in front of segregated audiences in South Africa. Dusty is credited with laying a path for the likes of Duffy and Amy Winehouse. We’ll be discussing her life and legacy.
