Dramatising All Passion Spent

Vita Sackville West was a unique novelist, poet and gardener. To celebrate the Woman’s Hour dramatisation of her 1931 novel All Passion Spent , Jane will be talking to Professor Laura Marcus about Vita’s fascinating life and scandalous relationships. Telling the story of Lady Slane, a mature woman who decides to make drastic changes to her life following the death of her statesman husband, All Passion Spent examines companionship, ambitions never realised, and how it’s never too late to make important changes to your life.
