Learning Poems by Heart11 December 2008
The way to create passion for verse?

As the BBC launches its "Off by Heart" competition for primary school children, Daisy Goodwin - the editor of eight poetry anthologies - joins Jenni to talk about the merits of memorising poetry and reciting it. Is learning by heart the enemy of creativity or the best way to create a passion for poetry? They'll also be joined by the writer and poet Eva Salzman.
