The Queen's Speech 20084 December 2008
What's in it for women?

The Queen has delivered her annual speech, telling the nation what the government is planning for us over the next twelve months. Because of the economic down-turn, it’s perhaps no surprise that the very first thing she said was that the government is "committed to helping families and businesses through difficult times,” but how far will they go and what’s in it for women?
Jenni is joined by BBC political reporter Joanna Shinn; the Director of the Fawcett Society, Katherine Rake and Jean Eaglesham of the Financial Times.
