Sarah Palin – Vice Presidential debate03 Oct 2008
The impact of the Republican’s first female running mate on the campaign.

The young Alaskan governor Sarah Palin last night faced veteran Senator Jo Biden in the Vice Presidential debate. Her grasp of the global economic meltdown and of foreign policy has been questioned by opponents and commentators. But how well did she square up to Biden and how do voters feel now that the Republican’s first ever female running mate has settled into campaigning? Jane talks to our reporter Jane Little live from Washington.
