What do we know about the biology of sex selection?
For many years Dr Valerie Grant has had a controversial theory about the sex ratio. She says that dominant women – with higher levels of testosterone – are more likely to have boys. She goes further, arguing that some women will always have boys and others always girls because of their hormone balance. The theory has been met with scepticism, but now Dr Grant says she’s a step closer to proving it with her new research. She joins Jenni in the studio along with Dr Alan Pacey, Secretary of The British Fertility Society.
