Women's Magazines
What's out there for those who want to read about more than just celebs and cellulite?

In the US they have Ms magazine, in the UK we used to have Spare Rib but for years there has been a void of what some would call a challenging British magazine for women. As the Woman’s Hour message board bemoans this gap in the market, and as the latest circulation figures show a decline in the appeal of some celebrity rags, Ritula discusses whether there is a desire for more meaningful women’s magazines with journalist and writer Kate Saunders, and Sally Feldman, Head of the School of Media, Arts and Design at the University of Westminster.
