Provision of Maternity Services25 Jan 2008
New research into quality of maternity care.

Today sees the publication of the Healthcare Commission’s eagerly anticipated report on maternity services in England. For the first time ever each NHS Trust will be rated for the maternity provision they provide. Dr Maggie Blott, Consultant Obstetrician at University College Hospital and spokesperson for Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Louise Silverton, Deputy General Secretary at the Royal College of Midwives join Jane to discuss the findings and their implications.
