Health
Long Term Ventilated Children11 Jan 2008
Children with serious breathing difficulties

Hundreds of young people have to have constant access to ventilation, day and night, to help them breathe. Many have to endure long stays in hospital but whenever possible there’s a move towards enabling them to live at home. What does that mean for the health care services and how far is knowledge and expertise being shared across the country? We hear from a couple who look after their daughter at home, and Jane's joined by Professor Peter Fleming and Victoria Townsend of Breathe On UK.
