Linda's partner, Warren Lakin on the comedian's memoir

In February 2006 the comedian Linda Smith died of ovarian cancer. Known for her witty observations, she was one of the most successful comedians of her time and a much loved regular on BBC Radio Four. Less than two years after her death, her partner of 23 years, Warren Lakin, has written her memoir. Driving Miss Smith tells of their life together, the rigours of the comedy circuit and her untimely battle with cancer.

Driving Miss Smith by Warren Lakin, is published by Hodder & Stoughton Audio Books, ISBN-13: 978-1844564651
