Breast Cancer: Diet17 Oct 2007
Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Woman's Hour
How much of a role does diet play in the fight against breast cancer?

Some scientists say that less than ten per cent of breast cancers are caused by faulty genes; they argue that over ninety per cent are caused by environmental factors - including diet. So, how important is diet? Professor Jane Plant is a geo-chemist who has had breast cancer and feels strongly that changing her diet saved her life. But what role does diet play in breast cancer?

Jenni talks to Professor Jane Plant and Professor Valerie Beral from Cancer Research UK to discuss the effect diet has on Breast cancer.
