Woman's Hour Survey - Work 3 October 2006
What do men and women really think about their roles in the workplace?

Our specially commissioned survey reveals broad agreement that employers treat men and women equally and that the gender pay gap is inevitable. So is the sex war over as far as the office is concerned? And, if you choose to prioritise your family above your career, should you accept that your workplace will value you less?

Jenni talks to Madeleine Bunting, Director of Demos, John Cridland, Deputy Director General of the CBI and to Dr Catherine Hakim, a sociologist at the London School of Economics.
