Today the results of Woman’s Hour's national survey are published. Specially commissioned for the 60th anniversary, it considers the renegotiation of gender roles - in the work place; in domestic arrangements; within parenting and caring; and within sex and relationships. Most of the respondents to the survey show a desire to settle down in their twenties, have families before they reach thirty and remain committed to one partner for life. So has 60s liberalism been shunned in favour of traditional values?
