Music
Allison Moorer 06 June 2006
Alternative country music star Allison Moorer sings live in the studio and talks to Jenni about her new album "Getting Somewhere". She now has five albums under her belt, an Oscar music nomination, and has recently married one of the biggest music stars in America, Steve Earle.

Allison has had her fair share of tragedy to deal with. She was orphaned in her teens, when both her parents died in a double murder-suicide. Her new album is about putting the past behind you, and includes a song about her mother in which Allison rewrites history and pictures her mother escaping her violent husband.

'Getting Somewhere' is published by Sugar Hill on June 19th
