Nominated for an academy award for her first major role in Breaking the Waves in 1996, Emily Watson has gone on to achieve notable success in a variety of roles ever since.
Next week her new film opens in London. Dubbed a bushranger western, The Proposition is set in a violent 1880s Australian outback exposing the bitter racial tensions between English and Irish settlers.
Emily joins Jenni to talk about the challenges of her new role.
