Music
Judy Collins on her new album17 Feb 2006
In a career spanning 45 years, Judy Collins has released more than 40 albums, had numerous top 10 hits and received two Grammy awards.

She is perhaps best known for her 1967 recording of “Both Sides Now” by the then little known singer Joni Mitchell and for her version of Stephen Sondheim’s song “Send in the Clowns”. She’s also regarded as the favourite singer of former president Bill Clinton.

Judy Collins talks to Martha Kearney about her successful career and her new album Portrait of an American Girl.

Portrait of an American Girl released by High Coin/Wildflower.
