Zadie Smith is well-known as the author of the extraordinary 'White Teeth', published at the age of 24 when she was straight out of university. Since then she has produced 'The Autograph Man' and the highly acclaimed 'On Beauty', which won the Orange Prize and was shortlisted for the Booker.
