The woman who created a game that became a household name.
It’s a game so seemingly simple, that it is often believed to have been around forever. But it was created only 27 years ago, by an English woman, born and raised in Africa. In 1982 Leslie Scott set out to manufacture and market a game she had invented. With little experience of business, she had no idea that she would have to risk almost everything: her career, her home and long-established friendships. But that game, Jenga, became a household name and has now sold over 50 million sets worldwide. She joins Jane to tell her intriguing story.
About Jenga - The remarkable business of creating a game that became a household name by Leslie Scott is published by Greenleaf Book Press ISBN: 978-1-60832-00208.
