Comedy actress Rebecca Front talks about her role in the new series of The Thick Of It
The Thick Of It returns to BBC2 on Saturday. Into the political spotlight is thrust Nicola Murray, an unknown MP so low down the pecking order that No 10 don’t even have a file on her. She unwittingly becomes the new minister at the Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship when everyone else turns down the role. How will Nicola fare under the steely gaze of foul-mouthed No. 10 enforcer Malcolm Tucker, played by Peter Capaldi? Rebecca Front is best known for appearances in Knowing Me, Knowing You, The Day Today and Nighty Night. She joins Jenni Murray to talk about her new role.
