Celebrating fifty years in the entertainment business

Roy Hudd started out as a Butlins redcoat and is now celebrating his fiftieth year in entertainment. His career has ranged from panto to Pinter, playing Bottom to Fagin. His hugely popular radio show 'The News Huddlines' ran for 26 years; and he’s appeared on television since the 1950s, most recently in Coronation Street. He has now written his personal story. Roy Hudd joins Jenni to discuss his successful career and the poignant story of his turbulent family life, which saw him raised by his adored grandmother.

'Fart in a Colander The Autobiography'' is published by Michael O’Mara Books ISBN: 978-1-84317-313-7.
