The Labèque sisters became famous in the 1980s when their two-piano recording of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue sold over half a million copies. Since then Marielle and Katia have forged relationships with some of the world’s most celebrated musicians, and have worked in a dizzying range of genres. They join Sheila to talk about performing in this year's Proms, their very latest recordings, and to explain why they continue to get so much pleasure from playing together.
