Since the all-girl electric string quartet Escala first appeared on ITV’s Britain's Got Talent earlier in the year, they’ve clinched a £1.5 million record deal with Simon Cowell, had a megawatt makeover and recorded their debut album, including one track with rock legend Slash. With trade-mark glamorous dresses, long legs and flowing hair, has caused some critics to accuse them of dumbing down. They join Jane to talk about their mission to break down the barriers of classical music and perform live in the studio.
