Best Television Comedy Actress

Sharon Horgan is the comedy writer and actress who brought us the Bafta-nominated series Pulling, about thirty something single women. She won the award for Best Television Comedy Actress at the British Comedy Awards at the end of last year. She stars in a new series called “Free Agents” which starts this week on Channel 4. It's about a pair of emotionally damaged talent agents who find a mixture of solace and infuriation in each other’s arms. Jenni talks to Sharon about her path to success, her particular brand of black comedy, and her unromantic view of female friendship.

Episode One of “Free Agents” is on Channel 4 February 13th at 10pm.
