2008 BBC Sports Personality of the Year – Four Female Olympians on the shortlist.
The 2008 BBC Sports Personality of Year will be announced on Sunday night. For the first time in many years, the competition is wide open and four of the ten shortlisted contenders are women - all of them gold medallists in Beijing. To review the British women’s performance in Beijing, and to ask how much of a springboard it could be for further success for our sportswomen on home turf in London in four years time, Jenni is joined by sports presenter Eleanor Oldroyd and rowing silver medallist Katherine Grainger.
