Lessons for Westminster?26 November 2008
House of Commons
What can be learned from the devolved assemblies?

Only 19.5% of the members of the House of Commons are women, but women are much better represented in the Welsh Assembly and Scottish Parliament. Jenni asks what impact greater gender equality has on the types of issues debated by politicians, and the way in which those debates are conducted. To discuss what Westminster can learn from the devolved assemblies Jenni is joined by Christine Chapman of the Welsh Assembly, Angela Constance from the Scottish Parliament, and Julia Hartley-Brewer, columnist from the Sunday Express.
