Dawn French
The comedienne on her memoirs

Dawn French is one of the country's most popular comedy actresses with a career spanning nearly three decades. She first appeared on television with the alternative comedy group, the Comic Strip, but is best known for her sketch show French and Saunders alongside her comedy partner Jennifer and for playing Geraldine in The Vicar of Dibley. She has written her memoirs, Dear Fatty, and joins Jane to discuss her nomadic upbringing; her father’s suicide; press intrusion; comedy and her love for Len.

Dear Fatty is published by Century on October 9th ISBN 978-1-8460-5344-3
