Martha Wainwright
Playing live and talking about being part of the musical Wainwright family.

When Martha Wainwright got married last autumn, amongst those serenading her were Emmylou Harris, Linda Thompson, Ed Harcourt – and her dad, mum and brother - otherwise known as Loudon Wainwright III, Kate McGarrigle and Rufus Wainwright. As the youngest of the clan, Martha was somewhat in the shadows of her illustrious family, but her new album and a UK tour should end that. She talks to Jane about her music and plays live in the studio.

Martha Wainwright's new album is “i know you’re married but i’ve got feelings too” and her new single is new single “bleeding all over you”

Her tour starts tonight at the Royal Festival Hall.
