Ten thousand men die of prostate cancer each year, but research shows that only a third of men even know where their prostate is. While there have been high-profile awareness campaigns and national screening programmes for breast and cervical cancers, many clinicians feel that prostate cancer has been overlooked. It's more common in men with a family history of the illness, and three times more common in the Afro-Caribbean community. Jane discusses what to look out for and the best way to treat the disease with consultant urologist. Paul Miller. They are joined by poet Benjamin Zephaniah, who's written a play about prostate cancer. De Botty Business by Benjamin Zephaniah is in Bristol on 10th March, Winson Green, Birmingham on 11th March; West Bromwich on 12th March; Leeds 13th March; Liverpool 14th March.
