Kaki King was named a "guitar god" by Rolling Stone becoming the first ever female to be given this title by the magazine. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe for her soundtrack to the film Into the Wild . She has a unique percussive style which has been described as a “mixture between funk and flamenco.” Kaki explains her techniques to Jenni and plays live in the studio.
