What does spiritual pilgrimage offer to the modern woman?

It's the 150th anniversary of the first time visions of the Virgin Mary were seen at Lourdes by Bernadette, a young peasant girl. Over 8 million visitors are expected to visit Lourdes this year, many of them women. Jane Garvey speaks to author Dr Ruth Harris, and Dr Sarah Boss, Director of the Centre for Marian studies at the University of Wales.
