A new novel from the Orange Prize Winner.

The American writer, Valerie Martin, was a surprise winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2003 with ‘Property’ – her tale of the wife of a slave owner in the early Nineteenth Century . Now she has a new novel out - ‘Trespass’, described as an exploration of identity, betrayal, love and jealousy. Valerie Martin joins Jane to discuss her latest work.
