The Mezzo soprano Dame Ann Murray has had an international career spanning over 30 years. She is equally at home on the opera and concert hall stages - she famously brought the house down singing “The Cats’ Duet” at the last night of the Proms in 1996 with her long time singing partner Dame Felicity Lott and is currently appearing as the Duchess of Plaza-Toro in Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta "The Gondoliers" at the ENO. She tells Jenni about performing operatic 'trousers roles,' her relationship with Felicity Lott and becoming a Dame.
