Best known for her role as the thirty-something singleton, Bridget Jones, Renee Zellweger is now playing another British institution, Beatrix Potter. The Tale of Peter Rabbit alone has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide since it was first published in 1902, but Beatrix struggled to find a publisher at first. She was a determined woman who was an active conservationist and used her fortune to acquire 14 farms and 4,000 acres of land in the Lake District, which she left to the National Trust on her death.
Renee Zellweger joins Martha to talk about her new film.
Miss Potter opens nationwide on Friday 5th January.
